Retrospective with Mayor Bill Neary

Retrospective with Mayor Bill Neary
A “Retrospective with William Neary, Mayor of East Brunswick, 1997-2009” hosted by Star-Ledger Reporter, Tom Haydon will be televised on EBTV in December. William Neary has been Mayor of East Brunswick for the past twelve years. In this hour-long EBTV special, he talks about the successes and challenges of his administration. His stories of his tenure as the township’s top elected official give insights into the concerns “behind the scenes” of the major events in the life of the town. Mayor Neary remembers topics that impacted the whole town, like six-acre zoning, the Golden Triangle, Heavenly Farms, September 11, and televising Council meetings – as well as more intimate moments, like presiding over weddings and funerals for residents of East Brunswick. Don’t miss this retrospective with Mayor – and master storyteller – Bill Neary. Watch for it in December on EBTV: Tuesdays at 3 p.m.; Wednesdays at 6 p.m. & 9 p.m.; Saturdays at 12 p.m.; and Sundays at 6 p.m.
