Bargain Book and Media Sale

The Bargain Book and Media Sale is held each March at the Brunswick Square Mall and is the biggest sale of its kind in Central New Jersey. Thousands of donated items of all kinds that are offered at deep discounts include :

• Books - popular fiction, mysteries, historical romances, reference, science, health and medicine, travel, how-to, cooking, gardening and you name it — hardcover, paperbacks, and on CD.
• Music CDs of all kinds,
• Video games,
• DVDs & videos - hit movies for adults and children, instructional DVDs, exercise and much more,
• Computer software.

The sale, which annually draws thousands of people from all over, is much anticipated by book bargain lovers and is the Friends' biggest fundraiser of the year.

Schedule for 2008: March 31st - April 6th

Sale Hours: Mon - Sat <Note the Change in Monday Hours >
Regular Mall Hours - 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Sunday:
Sunday Mall Hours: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Volunteers Are Needed!

If it take a village to raise a child, it takes nearly as many people to make sure the biggest, best known, and most popular library book sale in Central New Jersey runs smoothly. Any help at all will be appreciated.

When:

All week long, but especially for:

• Set-up the Sunday evening before the sale begins,
• Cleanup immediately after opening night Monday.

How to volunteer

• Postcards mailed to all current Friends members.
• Post Cards at the Circulation desk beginning February 1st.
• A link to an online version of the postcard is also available.
  

If you can work any of these shifts please indicate your choice(s) and return the preaddressed cards when they become available.

Note: These give suggested volunteer shifts of varying lengths, but any help you can give will be appreciated.

Shop at 5 p.m. Free of Charge on the final day of the Sale! Admissions by nonprofits is by invitation only.
