Forensics Science Mystery

Someone has stolen our Wimpy Kid cutout and it’s up to you to help us find the culprit. Explore areas in the library for clues and learn forensic science skills to help solve the mystery. Please arrive 30 minutes before the program begins. Space limited to 20 participants.
This program is recommended for children grades 2-7.

Mad scientists have invaded the library and brought their zany experiments with them. Earn your mad scientist degree by helping complete experiments about density, chemical reactions, and more! This program is recommended for children grades K-5. Safety goggles and gloves provided.

Music Video

Music Video

Visit the library to film the EBPL “Happy Song” music video. Participants can dance, lip sync, or just rock-out! Our Teen Library Connection volunteers will be editing the video using our new EBPLay lab. Be sure to come to our End of Summer Reading Party on Saturday August 16th to see the video's premiere. This program is recommended for children grades K-5. Participants will be asked to sign a release form.

Author Rachelle Burke

Join us for a special evening featuring the talents of Rachelle Burk, local children's author of Tree House in a Storm and her newly-released books, The Tooth Fairy Trap and Don't Turn the Page! Rachelle will delight the audience with her Mother Goof storytelling show, a lively and humorous storytime. Families will enjoy an interactive presentation of Rachelle's books, milk and cookies, and the chance to chat with Rachelle. Kids, don't forget to wear your pajamas!
Rachelle Burk's books will be available for purchase and signing at this program.
