Reading Buddies and Math Buddies

Reading/Math Buddies is not an enrichment program; it is intended to provide support for students in grades 1-5 who are struggling with on-grade level material in reading or math. The Library will assign partners, and the parent and teen volunteer will set a mutually agreeable schedule for 10 weeks. Meetings must take place in The Library. We will match Kid Buddies with Teen Buddies on a first come, first served basis, as the availability of Teen Buddies permits, with priority given to students identified by the reading and math specialists in their schools.
