Library bids farewell to long term Board of Trustee member

The Library Board of Trustees and staff bid a fond farewell to Stanley Fischer, Board Treasurer at a small party on Tuesday, October 20th.

Stan has been a valued member of the Board of Trustees for nine years, serving as treasurer for the last six years. Stan and his wife Lisa will be moving to Monroe in November. Mayor Stahl and former mayor William Neary both spoke glowingly about Stan’s service to the East Brunswick community, as a member of the Cable Television Advisory Board and the Library Board of Trustees. Stan spoke passionately about his belief that the East Brunswick public library was the best municipal public library because it always strove for greatness. Our best wishes to Stan and his wife as they begin the next phase of their lives.
