Email Basics Part I

Learn to use electronic mail to communicate with others. Includes creating a web-based email account, reading, sending, replying, and forwarding messages.

Prerequisites:

Internet for Beginners, Part One class or basic Internet and word processing experience.

Fees:

  • Library Cardholders -- $5 per class. The $5.00 fee will be added to Library cardholder accounts after the cardholder has registered for a class.
  • Non-cardholders -- $10.00 per class. Non-cardholders must pay the $10.00 fee at registration.

Cancellation Policy

Please take your commitment seriously. Remember, your registration locks out someone else. If you cannot attend, you MUST call 732-390-6767 at least 24 hours before class time or cancel your registration online. If you do not attend and fail to cancel, the $5 registration fee is nonrefundable and will be charged to your library account. Customers with fines exceeding $5 will have a blocked library card until the fine is paid. The $10.00 fee for noncardholders is non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by The Library. Your fee may be applied to another class at a future date. Call the Information Desk at 732-390-6767 for more information.

Registration Requirements

Please register early. Registration will be closed 48 hours before the start of a class. If there are fewer than six people registered at that time the class will be cancelled. The Library will always call and/or email you if a class is cancelled due to insufficient registration.
