Teen Dungeons & Dragons Meetup
Get your adventure started with Dungeon Master David! Monday, Dec. 29 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Meet our Dungeon Master David and play a round of Dungeons and Dragons! David has all the tools to teach even the most beginner players. We're playing D&D 3.5 David will also introduce Hackmaster, a game similar to D&D. Bring your own game pieces or play with the library's'.

Teen Volunteer Fair
Find out about volunteers at the library and in East Brunswick! This is REQUIRED if you want to volunteer at the library. Saturday, Dec. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Come to the library to find out about volunteer opportunities here and in the East Brunswick community! For teens 13-19, the East Brunswick Youth Council will be here among other volunteer opportunities from the library. The National Honors Society will be represented; the Youth Services department will speak about their volunteer needs; and the Teen Department will talk about TAG, Geek League, TLC, and the new Harry Potter Alliance among others.  Teens who are interested in volunteering at the library starting in 2015, for any of our volunteer programs, must attend the volunteer fair.   Please contact Jessica Schneider with any questions about this event. jschneider@ebpl.org

Please share the joy of reading with a needy child this holiday season by donating a book to the Books to Keep program.

Please share the joy of reading with a needy child this holiday season by donating a book to the Books to Keep program. Donations of new paperback or hardcover books are being accepted as well as monetary donations to support the purchase of books. Drop off books in the Youth Services Department from now until December 21st.

If you or someone you know loves to program, then register for this great event now! Friday, Dec. 12 from 5 to 9 p.m.

For Teens who love to programming. Come participate in the Hour of Code after hours at the library! You'll learn to code, hear from guest speakers, win prizes, and more!

This great program is for teens who love programming. Come by for an Hour of Code at the East Brunswick Public Library, from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12, and learn how to create apps, video games, and learn about Arduino and more, all while learning to code!  Matt Monasch of Zynga and Katy Kasmai of Xocracry will be joining us as guest speakers this year.  

Matt Monasch has worked on creating games for Zynga like Dojo Mojo and CityVille as is a self-described geek, programmer, and designer extraordinaire.  Katy Kasmai is the cofounder and CEO of Xocracy, a social media platform for voting online. She has over 15 years of experience in the tech industry and is active in the tech community in NYC.  She is passionate about new technologies and moonshot projects, creating productive connections and building tech communities including one of the largest communities of Google Glass and Android Wear users, developers and designers.

Learn some outside the box job search techniques. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m. to noon

Seeking employment is a fulltime job. This presentation will review social media job search techniques, networking techniques, sector specific approaches and other trends to help you secure the job you really want.
