Thinking Ahead About Home Care

Apr 24 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Planning for the future is easier when you have good information. This program is designed to help you learn about home care options before you need them, so you can feel prepared and confident.

Liz Charbonneau, former owner of Homewatch CareGivers in Princeton, will explain the basics of home care, including the difference between home care and home health care, the types of services available, and how to choose the right provider. The session will also cover payment options such as private pay, long-term care insurance, veterans’ benefits, Medicaid, and disability programs, as well as the pros and cons of hiring through an agency versus privately.

Whether you’re planning ahead for yourself or helping a loved one prepare, this program offers clear, practical guidance.
