Rainbow Reads Book Club @ the Pride Center

Jun 15 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Rainbow Reads - LGBTQ+ book club collaboration with the Pride Center of NJ and the Highland Park Library. This group meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 7pm at the Pride Center of NJ. Address is 85 Raritan Avenue (Suite #100), Highland Park, NJ

Next Meeting - June 15th at 7pm. We are reading the novel, Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin.  Reserve a copy of the book here.

Tales of the City is a funny, heartfelt look at queer life and chosen family in 1970s San Francisco. Following the residents of 28 Barbary Lane, the novel blends humor, friendship, romance, and self-discovery in a way that still feels fresh and relatable today. It’s a cozy, thoughtful read that celebrates community, identity, and finding where you belong.

Join the Rainbow Reads book group for lively discussions centered on books by queer and trans authors, or stories that highlight LGBTQ+ characters and themes. While our focus is on LGBTQ+ literature, readers of all identities are welcome to take part in thoughtful, respectful, and engaging conversations.
