Fresh Start @ Your Library is a statewide library reentry program that is focused on reconnecting returning citizens with their communities. John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development

New Start Career Network

The John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development provides free web-based and coaching services to long-term unemployed older workers. As of late March, the Heldrich Center is also providing these services to workers who have become unemployed due to Coronavirus. . The resources of the New Start Career Network include webinars, and tips on coping with unemployment, getting help, looking for jobs, changing careers, preparing resumes, as well as  support groups.   For more information, email nscn@ejb.rutgers.edu.

One Stop Career Center

The One Stop Career Centers are closed during the Coronavirus pandemic. Training, counseling and workshops are available virtually. The One Stop Career Center offers free, self-directed materials and group workshops.  A staff member is available to answer your questions and provide career guidance.  Visit Middlesex County’s One-Stop Career Center Monday – Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.  You will find career help in these areas:
