Voting on Election Day
In New Jersey, an official ID is now required in order to vote in a voting machine. If you do not have an ID, you may vote using a provisional ballot and have until the 2nd business day after the election to provide that information to the appropriate election official. The NJ Division of Elections page describes this and lists acceptable types of ID. Electioneering and exit polling are also banned within 100 feet of the polling place.
Polling hours on Election Day in New Jersey are from 6AM to 8PM.
