Featuring guest lecturer Tamer Teoman, tour guide and archaeologist on February 22nd at 7pm.

Does the thought of travelling to Turkey and experiencing its old world charm pique your curiosity? Travel to this exotic land without leaving the comforts of your hometown when Guest Speaker Tamer Teoman regales us with rich and vibrant information about Turkey and tourism at The East Brunswick Library on Sunday, February 22nd at 7pm. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

The discussion, titled “Turkey – Where Europe and Asia Meet,” will take you on an armchair tour around this historically rich and culturally diverse country. Turkey, a top 20 tourist destination, is an American-friendly, democratic and secular country where great seafood and nightlife can be enjoyed in addition to amazing tourist sites such as Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, Ephesus and the world-famous Grand Bazaar.

Tamer Teoman has been a tour guide for 12 years and has been the personal tour guide for dignitaries including Price Charles. He has a Ph. D in Archeology and has been the guest speaker at colleges including UCLA and Skidmore. He is an in-demand lecturer who has spoken at many Rotary clubs, religious groups and other organizations.
