EBPL offers Assistance with Affordable Care Act
The Library is offering an overview session and one-on-one assistance in time for enrollment kickoff
ACA Overview Workshop – Wednesday, October 28 from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Do you have questions about the federal Marketplace, and how Affordable Care Act insurance works? This informational session will include answers on how the plans are priced, at what levels, and how to enroll. This session will be led by SRA International, the federally contracted company that has been working to enroll New Jersey residents for the last three years. There will be a Q&A session, so bring your questions!
In-Person Insurance Enrollment Assistance – Sunday, November 1 from 1-4 p.m.
Open enrollment for the health insurance through the federal marketplace opens soon - if you want coverage for 2016, enrollment starts November 1! If you’re unsure of which plan is right for you or your family, what subsidies you may qualify for, or just want someone to walk you through the process, the East Brunswick Public Library is offering one-on-one assistance with trained enrollment assisters on Sunday, November 1st between 1 and 4 p.m. Get free in-person assistance throughout the process, and have all your questions answered. SRA International will provide trained experts to answer your questions and get you covered. Even if you enrolled in the marketplace last year, you MUST re-enroll again this year. Bilingual assistance will be provided!
If you plan to enroll, please bring the following: 1) Social Security numbers (or document numbers for legal immigrants), 2) employer and income information for every member of your household who needs coverage (for example, from pay stubs or W-2 forms—Wage and Tax Statements), and 3) policy numbers for any current health insurance plans covering members of your household (if applicable).
Both events are free and open to the public. No registration is necessary. Any questions, please call
Jill D’Amico at 732-390-6772 or email jdamico@ebpl.org
