To celebrate Do It Yourself (DIY) culture, the East Brunswick Public Library will again host NJ Makers Day on Saturday, March 19th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Read More
The library is one of over 200 official locations across the state featuring maker-themed programs. Demonstrations and workshops during the day include hands-on electronics, furniture building, STEM-based projects, cooking, Rube Goldberg machines, green screen lab, arm knitting, and more.

Sunday: Friends' Stand-up Comedy Night Fundraiser
The East Brunswick Friends of the Library will present a benefit comedy performance by stand-up comic and Saturday Night Live writer Dave Sirus at the VFW Hall Post #133 at 485 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick on Sunday, March 20. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will start at 7 p.m. Read More
A 1996 graduate of East Brunswick High School, Dave (aka David Pollock) has performed at multiple venues in New York City and Los Angeles, as well as written and produced for television and film. In 2015, he became a writer for Saturday Night Live.
Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased at the East Brunswick Public Library Circulation Desk and at the door. Light refreshments will be served, and a cash bar will be available. Anyone under 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Seating is limited.
Proceeds will support programs for adults and children and other Library activities and services.

The event is presented in association with the Cancer Support Community (Central New Jersey) and the library’s Just For the Health of It! consumer health initiative. Attendees need to pre-register ahead of time by calling (877) 634-0303.
Regional Cancer Care Associates LLC – Central Jersey Division (RCCA-CJD) is a division of Regional Cancer Care Associates, the largest network of cancer care practices in the state. RCCA-CJD is comprised of board certified hematologists, oncologists and nurse practitioners that specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders.
