Friends Designer Handbag Bingo Friday May 6
The East Brunswick Friends of the Library will host a Designer Handbag Bingo Friday, May 6 at East Brunswick High School, 380 Cranbury Road. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the first game will be called at 7:30 p.m. The event will also include tricky tray baskets, a 50/50 raffle, and door prizes. Read More
Tickets cost $30 and can be purchased at the East Brunswick Library Circulation Desk until May 2 or at the door for $35. Admission includes three bingo cards for 10 games and light refreshments. "Intro to Container Gardening" Tuesday 4/26
Container gardening allows you the flexibility to start a garden anywhere. Join a Master Gardener Volunteer who will teach you best practices to make your container garden successful. Jay Quimby is a Master Gardener Volunteer with the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Middlesex County.

You look back and wonder “where did the time go”? You look ahead and wonder “what am I going to do with the next 20-30+ years of my life”?
Having a plan ahead of time or as you begin entering Life 2.0 helps to make the transition easier. This workshop is designed help participants begin to think about how they are going to live “Life 2.0” in the new “un-retirememt”. We will define the new “un-retirement” and explore ways of living a fulfilling life in Life 2.0.
Jacqueline Robinson is the owner of the Life 2.0 Community, and JRR Consulting, Inc. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 30 years, and now teaches others how to enjoy a fruitful un-retirement.

Defensive Driving Course April 12 & 13
Get a 5 percent discount on your auto insurance or erase points from you or your teen's driver's license by attending the next two-day East Brunswick Friends of the Library's Defensive Driving Course. Read More
Eligible drivers can erase two points from their driver's license and/or get a five percent discount for three years on a portion of their auto insurance by attending both sessions.
Approved by the State of New Jersey, the course is taught by an experienced police detective-accident investigator. Participants must attend two consecutive evenings for credit. Course costs vary according to goal: for a 2 point reduction on your license, $65; for an insurance discount, $55. For both, the cost is $65.

42nd Annual Friends of the Library Book & Media Sale Ends Sunday
The 42nd Annual Friends of the Library Book & Media Sale will be held from April 4th through 10th at the Centre Court in the Brunswick Square Mall. The sale, which annually draws thousands of people from the region, is much anticipated by book bargain lovers. Read More
Thousands of books, videos, audio books, DVDs, and CDs for all ages and interests will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the East Brunswick Public Library. An exclusive Preview Sale will be held on Monday, April 4th from 8:00-9:00 a.m. The cost is $25 per person at the door. The full Sale opens to the public at 10 a.m. On Wednesday, April 6th, there will be a free children’s event from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
