45th Annual Book & Media Sale Ends Sunday

45th Annual Book & Media Sale Ends Sunday

Posted March 28, 2019

The East Brunswick Friends of the Library are hosting their 45th annual Book & Media Sale at the JC Penney Court in Brunswick Square Mall (Route 18, East Brunswick) this March 25-31. More Info

This is the biggest fundraising project the Friends host each year," said Ellen Cramer, Friends of the Library President. "All of the proceeds from the sale go to the Library, allowing us to sponsor programming, special events, services like the Museum Pass Program and purchasing equipment for the Library's EB Create Makerspace."

Cramer estimates that the sale will have tens of thousands of items available for purchase.

"Every year we hear from the Book Sale shoppers about the treasures they find," Cramer added. "We have books, videos, DVDs and CDs covering any topic and theme imaginable. It is a great way to build your personal library and give back to the community at the same time."

The Book & Media Sale is open to the public during  Brunswick Square's regular hours of operation Monday, March 25 through Saturday, March 30 from 10:00 am to 9:30 pm, and on Sunday, March 31 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The Friends will be offering a special "preview sale" on the morning of Monday, March 25 from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.  The cost for the preview sale is $25 per person at the door.  This gives book collectors the first opportunity to purchase items from the book sale.

Purchases can be made by cash, check or credit card.

During the Book and Media Sale, the Friends are also hosting a fundraising event at the Panera Bread in the Brunswick Square Mall on Saturday, March 30 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. By showing a flyer to the cashier, available at the library, the book sale or on the library's website, a portion of all purchases will be donated to the Friends of the Library.
