Friends Family Fishing Day September 12
The Friends of the Library are having a Family Fishing Day on Sunday, September 12.

The East Brunswick Friends of the Library have planned the perfect fundraiser event for late summer. They are hosting a Family Fishing Day on Sunday, September 12, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, at Molder's Fishing Preserve (318 John Wall Road, Monroe Township, NJ).
Tickets purchased in advance for adults (ages 12 and up) are $11, and tickets purchased in advance for children (ages 5-11) are $8. Children under five are free.
Tickets can also be purchased by mailing a check made to East Brunswick Friends of the Library and mailing it to:

All mail orders must be received by September 9 and include the number of adult and child tickets purchased.

Use Venmo to send us your order! Scan the code to the left or send it to our Venmo address @EB-Friends. In your order, please put your contact information (phone/e-mail) and how many adult tickets and kids tickets you are ordering.
You do not need to have a fishing license to participate. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and snacks.
A limited number of fishing poles are available for a rental fee of $8 and live bait for $3.50 at the event. In the event of inclement weather, there is a rain date scheduled on September 19. Proceeds from this event benefit the East Brunswick Public Library.

Girls Who Code Club
Our popular Girls Who Code club is back! We have two online programs, one for girls in grades 3-4 and one for girls in grades 6-12. Learn more
3RD-5TH GRADE GIRLS WHO CODE CLUB
This club meets every other Monday from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The club runs from September 13 through December 6.The group will learn Scratch, and the girls will pick up computer science concepts like order of codes, function, events, loops, condition, variable and abstraction. Scratch is a block-based programming language, and the projects are fun to spark interest in coding. It is suitable for beginners who have no prior experience in coding.

6-12TH GRADE GIRLS WHO CODE CLUB
This club has seven meetings every other Monday from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The club meets from September 20 through December 13.We will learn the introduction to JavaScript together using Intro to JS: Drawing & Animation of Khan Academy.

Docket App
Docket is an app from the NJ Department of Health that makes it easier for you and your family to securely access your COVID-19 vaccination record.
If you don't have your vaccination card with you or lost it, you can easily access your record through the app to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as needed.
The Docket app is free and available in the App store or on Google Play in English or Spanish depending on Smartphone settings.

Requesting A New COVID-19 Vaccination Card
If you lost your COVID-19 vaccination card, you can request your immunization record by visiting the New Jersey Immunization Information System (NJIIS).
Once on this page, complete the following actions:
- Click on "Submit a Request" from the top blue ribbon.
- Click "I want to request a copy of my immunization record from NJIIS", which will open a form which you need to complete. Note: You will need to attach a copy of your photo ID. Acceptable forms of ID include: a state-issued photo driver's license with address; a state-issued photo non-driver's identification card with address; a similar form of identification issued by this State, another state, or the Federal government; or a photo identification card issued by a New Jersey County Clerk.
- If you wish to have a copy of the COVID-19 vaccine lot number, please write this in the description section of the ticket.
- Click "Send" to submit your request, and your request will typically be processed within 24-48 business hours.
Note: All immunization records will be mailed. They cannot be emailed.
