New Jersey Blood Services has declared a blood emergency! Blood donations have decreased significantly over the past several weeks and inventory currently stands at a 1-2 day level. Hospitals and patients rely on life-saving blood donations. Donate on Thursday, 8/25 , 1pm – 7pm at the East Brunswick Public Library Blood Drive. Medicare Open Enrollment begins October 15th and runs through December 7th. This is the opportunity to review and/or make any changes to your Medigap coverage and your Medicare Part D (prescription coverage.) SHIP (State Health Insurance Program) counselors will be available by appointment only through the Department on Aging to assist you with your Open Enrollment needs.
