Items checked out prior to March 16, 2020 are due back by July 31. Please return items at our outdoor book drops Monday 8:30 am - Saturday 7:30 pm (closed Sunday). Fines for items returned after July 31 will be waived until the library building reopens. Lendable kits cannot be returned at book drops. You will be contacted by library staff for information on returning these items.

Enjoy the glamour and sophistication of music from the 20s and 30s. Wednesday, June 25 • 1 p.m.

Learn about the fascinating works of the Gershwin brothers, who gave a musical voice to the glamour and sophistication of the 20s and 30s. Their songs are enduring standards, and include I Got Rhythm, Embraceable You, Summertime, Strike Up the Band and Someone to Watch Over Me. George Gershwin’s orchestral compositions also include the brilliant Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris. You don’t want to miss this event!<br><br>

Dr. Butts is a music professor at Montclair University and College of St. Elizabeth, as well as the director of the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey ad the Opera of Florham. He is composer of numerous orchestral, opera theatre and chamber works.<br><br>
