The East Brunswick Friends of the Library have planned the perfect fundraiser event for late summer. They are hosting a Family Fishing Day on Sunday, September 6, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, at Molder's Fishing Preserve (318 John Wall Road, Monroe Township, NJ).

"We've planned a fun outdoor activity to support the library," said Adrian Levine from the East Brunswick Public Library. "This event is a great way for your family to enjoy the outdoors while adhering to the social distancing rules."

Tickets for adults (ages 12 and up) are $12, and tickets for children (ages 5-11) are $9. Children under five are free. You do not need to have a fishing license to participate. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and snacks.

A limited number of fishing poles are available for a rental fee of $8. Live bait is also available at the event for $3.50. In the event of inclement weather, there is a rain date scheduled on September 13. Proceeds from this event benefit the East Brunswick Public Library.
