Library Services & Updates
The East Brunswick Public Library will open to the public with limited services.
The library's hours will be as follows:
- Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. From 10:00 am to 11:00 am, seniors and vulnerable populations have exclusive access.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
- Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The Board of Trustees made this decision at their meeting held February 16, 2021. It is based on the fact that transmission rates, hospital admission rates and death rates of COVID-19 have begun to show steady declines. These hours are subject to change, based on the Board’s continuing review of case-based scientific data.
The Board of Trustees knows that residents enjoy the services of our public library. The library’s dedicated team of professionals has served the community with innovative and broad-based virtual programming, access to digital resources, and curbside pickup throughout the pandemic. These services will continue, but we know how much the community has missed being able to visit the library in person. We look forward to welcoming you back to the library on March 1, 2021!
