Learn about the forces that helped shape the Iran we know today
Get two sides of the same story during Iran: Past, Present and Future at the East Brunswick Public Library on Monday, July 13, at 7 p.m. Join Dr. Masoud Bonyanian, a former instructor of International Relations at Iranian universities, and Dr. Paul Sprachman, instructor of Persian in the Rutgers Department of African, Middle Eastern and South Asian Languages and Literature, as the two analyze the forces that have helped shape the Iranian identity. Dr. Sprachman has lived in Afghanistan, Tehran and Isfahan and has traveled extensively in Morocco and India. The two also will share true stories about life in today’s Iran.
