Jewish Choir of Central NJ to perform at East Brunswick Public Library
Sunday, March 7th from 3 to 4 p.m.
Drop by the East Brunswick Public Library as the Jewish Choir of Central New Jersey once again fills the building with music on Sunday, March 7, from 3 to 4 p.m. Under the direction of two local cantors, Anna West Ott and Sheldon Levin, the Jewish Choir of Central NJ Makhelat HaMercaz will present a stirring program spanning the spectrum of Jewish experience and traditions. Enjoy a repertoire of pieces included in their journey around the world including “Tzadik Katamar” in African style, “Lo Yisa Goy” in Caribbean style, several beautiful Ladino songs, new songs from Israel, the U.S. and much more. The program is sponsored by the Friends of The Library.
