Local Director to Present Documentary, "Growtown Motown"

Christian Schuller will discuss his documetnary "Growtown Motown," as well as the local food movement. Thursday, April 7, at 7 p.m.

What happens when a group of community gardeners come together with a shared sense of vision and purpose? Find out during a showing of the award-winning documentary “Growtown Motown,” at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 7, at the East Brunswick Public Library. Created by East Brunswick filmmaker Christian Schuller, the event will include a showing of the film and a discussion led by the director about the local food movement and how people are embracing it. The film tells the story of what can happen when hopeful community gardeners come together with a shared sense of purpose. The stories are real, and nobody goes home hungry. Learn how people are embracing the ideas found in this film during this informative event. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission and the Library.
