Screening: "Portrait of Wally" Tonight

The documentary is about the painting “Portrait of Wally,” an oil painting by artist Egon Schiele. The piece belonged to an Austrian art collector Lea Bondi Jaray, and was taken by the Nazis during World War II. This film chronicles the Bondi family’s struggle to reclaim the portrait.
“Portrait of Wally” was directed by Andrew Shea. It was a selection at several festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival, AFI/Discovery Channel Silverdocs Documentary Festival and the Vancouver International Film Festival
This screening is co-sponsored by the Eat Brunswick Human Relations Council and the East Brunswick Arts Commission.
The movie screening is free and open to the public. “Portrait of Wally” is not rated and runs 92 minutes.
