Library Features: What's New @ The Library
New Computer Class Fees
On March 18th, the Library Board of Trustees passed a resolution to change pricing for computer classes. As a result, beginning April 1st, all INTRO or LEVEL 1 Adult Computer Training Classes, excluding Quickbooks or other BRC special offerings, will be free for both residents and non-residents. All Adult Computer Training Classes without the words INTRO or LEVEL 1, unless otherwise noted, will be $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents.

Anyone who has already registered for our upper level classes by April 1st will be grandfathered in, and will not be required to pay the higher fees. Residents who paid for introductory classes after March 18th will receive a credit to attend an upper level class for free. These residents must see a library staff person to arrange credit and register for a class.
The Library Board of Trustees made this adjustment as part of the library's strategic planning. The library's level one classes supports information literacy which is part of the mission of the library. In addition the library is planning to expand our course offerings. Kids and teens classes will continue to be offered at no charge.
