East Brunswick Public Library's geek event returns this December.

Inspired by the popularity of video games and comic book movies, East Brunswick Public Library plans on hosting their second annual EB Con on the weekend of Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3.

From 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, the Friends of the Library are hosting a Geek Flea Market at the library. Attendees can shop for toys, comic books, dolls, video games, crafts, collectibles, games and any other geeky things at this sale. There is no admission fee for this Geek Flea Market.

The Friends of the Library are currently looking for vendors for the event. Table spaces are $20 and include one 18”x72” table with two chairs. All proceeds benefit the library. To purchase a table space, please bring the payment (cash or check) to the library’s Circulation Desk. Registration forms can be found here or at the library.

Later that night, the library presents EB Con: After Hours starting at 5:00 pm. Activities for the night are gaming-themed, including retro video gaming, board and card games, geek crafting and a life-sized Pac-Man competition. These programs are designed for teenagers and adults. You must register online by clicking here.

On Sunday, December 3, there will be several activities for children and families planned in the Youth Services Department. For more information about EB Con and other library events, keep checking the website.
