Assemblywoman Nancy J. Pinkin announced that she will be hosting a free job and career fair on December 12 at the East Brunswick Public Library.

Joining her in sponsoring the event will be the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the East Brunswick Public Library, and her legislative colleagues, Senator Patrick Diegnan, and Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak. 

“Having meaningful employment is very important,” said Pinkin. “It is not only beneficial for the individual, but beneficial to our economy and our communities.  It is my hope that this job fair will help residents find new jobs, explore new career goals and find opportunities to network.” 

Last year, more than 400 job-seekers and 25 companies participated in the event. 

“Last year’s job fair was a huge success,” said East Brunswick Public Library Director Jennifer Podolsky. “More and more of our customers are coming to the library for career information, and this event will definitely be a help to them.”

Prospective employers include:  East Brunswick Public Schools, Columbia Bank, Brook Health Care, Northfield Bank, St. Peter’s University Hospital, SERV Behavioral Health, to name a few.

The event will take place on December 12, 2016 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, East Brunswick. 

Assemblywoman Pinkin represents the 18th Legislative District which includes East Brunswick, Edison, Helmetta, Highland Park, Metuchen, South Plainfield and South River.
