Garrett Kopp of Tupper Lake, N.Y., first learned about the nutritional benefits of chaga mushrooms from his grandmother, who made tea from them. His curiosity led him to research these and other forest fungi, become certified as a Mushroom Identification Expert by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, and develop a marketable product – all by the age of 21. Learn about the fascinating and colorful world of mushrooms and have a sip of Garrett’s chaga tea.
