The Library will be closed July 3 and 4 in observance of Independence Day. Virtual reference will be suspended, and the book drops will be closed at that time. These services resume Monday, July 6.

Master Gardener Alicia Lax’s presentation discusses all the information people need to establish a backyard composting system. This includes where to put it, how to contain it, what to put in it and some of the science and environmental issues involved.

Alicia Lax has been a Middlesex County Master Gardener for 6 years. She manages the compost demonstration area and leads workshops at the Earth Center.
