Producer Kristin Canty’s film, Farmageddon, documents her quest to find healthy food for her four children. It turns into an educational journey as she seeks to discover why she is denied the freedom to select the foods of her choice from the producer of her choice.

The movie tells the story of small, family farmers providing safe, healthy foods to their communities, but whose farms were “violently shut down by overzealous government policy and regulators.” The film succinctly poses and addresses the question, “why is this happening in 21st century America?”
After the screening of the documentary, the audience will have the opportunity to discuss “food freedom” with a panel of experts:
Jon McConaughy, owner, Double Brook Farm, Hopewell
• Lucia & Charles Huebner, owners, Beechtree Farm, Hopewell
• Angela Davis, Weston A. Price Foundation Jersey City Chapter Leader
