Many East Brunswick Public Library customers are used to coming to the library to borrow romance novels. This fall, library customers will learn how these books are written in a special program.

The library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) hosts the  "Self-Publishing & Romance Writers: Palenl Discussion and Workshop" on Tuesday, September 17 at 7:00 pm.

This program features four published authors discussing several topics, including the pros and cons of self-publishing, writing and editing your book, promotions and more. There will be a question and answer period.

Roni Denholtz is the award-winning author of 14 romances and romance novellas. She has been published by Avalon (now Montlake/Amazon); The Wild Rose Press; and self-published. Her books have been nominated for the Southern Magic Award, The National Readers' Choice Award, and the NJ Golden Leaf award,  which she won for 'Marquis in a Minute." She has also published nine children's books and dozens of stories and articles in national magazines. She lives in northwest NJ with her husband and rescue dog. Check out her website at www.ronidenholtz.com.

Jean Joachim, wife and mother of two sons, is owned by a rescued pug, named Homer. She'd been writing non-fiction for what seemed like forever until she got up the nerve to try fiction. It was love. Now she spends her days in New York City in the company of her characters, with a cup of tea and a secret stash of black licorice. She has won several awards, including Author of the Year from the NY Romance Writers of America, First Place in the Oklahoma Romance Writers of America International Digital Awards Contest of 2015, and several other awards.  To learn more about her career, go to www.jeanjoachimbooks.com.

Roz Lee has written several romance novels. She is also a member of several groups, including the Author's Guild, Romance Writers of America and the Los Angles Romance Authors. Additional information about her career can be found online at www.rozlee.net.

Shirley Hailstock began her writing life as a lover of reading. She likes nothing better than to get lost in a book, explore new worlds and visit places she never expected to see. As an author, she can not only visit those places, but she can be the heroine of her own stories. A past president of both New Jersey Romance Writers and Romance Writers of America, her 37th book will be released in 2019.  More information about Hailstock can be found online at www.shirleyhailstock.net.
