Bonjour, Breast Cancer—I’m Still Smiling! is a lively talk based on Princess Diane von Brainisfried’s personal experience embracing the journey of breast cancer and her new book of the same name.  This practical and humorous guide to beating the breast cancer blues combines von Brainisfried’s own insights and epiphanies with research-based positive psychology strategies, along with the wisdom of thinkers like Socrates, Cherokee legend makers, and her own Jewish great grandmother. You’ll learn how to reclaim your happiness mojo as The Princess shows you how to go from fear and despair to positivity and optimism.  You can turn breast cancer lemons (and life’s other bitter tidbits) into Royal Lemonade and Bonjour Breast Cancer will show you how!

When Princess Diane von Brainisfried is not smashing champagne bottles over the bows of ships or blogging her brains out at her palace desk in the kingdom of, she’s a motivational speaker and Certified Positive Psychology Life Coach. She recently kicked breast cancer’s arse without losing her happiness mojo and created humorous seminars and workshops teaching strategies for happiness, optimism, and turning life’s lemons into Royal Lemonade. Princess Diane is also the optimist expert for the Women’s Health Institute of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and she was a facilitator at Miami’s first World Happiness Summit. When The Princess is not wearing her tiara, she is known as Diane Young Uniman, a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of Pennsylvania who also studied at La Universite´ de Poitiers, La Rochelle, France. She’s a criminal justice appeals attorney turned writer of screenplays and musicals. Her work has been featured at Lincoln Center’s Broadway’s Future series and was accepted into Fringe/NYC. She has won over fifty awards for her screenplays and musicals. Diane is also an opera singer and an advanced student at the New York School of Practical Philosophy.
