Just for the Health of It

With the recent news stories about ticks and the diseases that they carry, the Middlesex County Office of Health Services has created an educational display board on how to protect yourself, your family and your pets from these pests.

  • Don’t let these ticks make you sick (top 4 most common ticks in New Jersey)
  • What is a tick?
  • Why the concern?
  • How do you repel ticks?
  • How to protect
  • How to inspect
  • How to remove
  • How to act

Sponsored by Middlesex County Office of Health Services and the library's Just for the Health of It! initiative to promote community health and wellness.
