LMxAC Trading Cards
|

This summer East Brunswick Public Library is participating in the LMxAC LIbrary Trading Card series! Each member library of the LMxAC has its trading card that represents their library! Stop by the Circulation Desk to get the East Brunswick Public Library trading.

If you get to all thirty-two LMxAC libraries, bring the cards back to the library to fill out a certification form, and you will be entered into a drawing for prizes! The grand prize is an iPad, and the five runners up will win a gift card for Barnes & Noble!
Here are the rules:
- Only one East Brunswick Public Library card per customer.
- Once you collect all 32 different cards, you will be entered into the drawing.
- The last day for you to show all thirty-two cards at the Circulation Desk is Friday, August 30.
- You can find all of the rules here.

Summer Reading 2019
|

East Brunswick Public Library begins another season of our annual Summer Reading Program! The earliest summer reading programs began in 1942 as a way to encourage children to retain knowledge after the school year ended. Our summer reading program provides not just children, but readers of all ages a way to stay engaged throughout the summer months!
We are holding great programs based on this year's theme of A Universe of Stories, which will encourage readers to explore other literary worlds, learn new skills and to become more involved with our community. Stop by the library all summer to take our Summer Reading Challenge; we have special programs for children, teens and adults, all with the chance to win great prizes!
To get started, take a look at our Summer Reading Challlenge Boards. You can print your own or pick one up next time you stop by the library.
Summer Reading is going on now! Make sure you return your finished summer reading challenged board by August 11.

Creative Club Continues in EB Create
|
Learn More
Join our Creative Club and try something new at the library all summer long!
EB Create Creative Club is time during which the makerspace is staffed with a "Creative Consultant" who has experience with particular equipment, materials, kits, or software in EB Create. This is different than a program or class where patrons would be instructed step by step. During Creative Club, patrons will drop in to work on whatever task they want independently with the Creative Consultant there to guide them through the process.
Each week there will be something different to learn and discover in EB Create.
Check our EB Create calendar to see what's coming up!
