Quickbooks Training at EBPL

QuickBooks Online Series

A QuickBooks Online series of courses will now be offered at East Brunswick Library through Labyrinth Learning’s Business and Accounting Series. Due to licensing restrictions, the registration, payment, and attendance procedures differ from those of the regular technology training courses offered at EBPL as well as the cost structure. Please read the guidelines below carefully.

Registration

In order to register for the series, you must sign up for the QuickBooks Online I course through the website or by calling customer service at 732-390-6767. However, registration is not complete until payment has been received. If you register online or over the phone and do not submit payment, your registration is marked as IN PROGRESS. If you do not submit payment by the registration deadline (listed on the EBPL.org calendar event page) or your registration will be canceled, and your spot will be offered to the next person on the waiting list. Completing registration for QBO I will automatically reserve your spot for QBO II through IV.

Cost

The cost of the license from Labyrinth Learning is $35 and gives you access to an eBook as well as a trial subscription to QuickBooks Online. You will have created a username and password with your license key which gives you full access to these materials outside of the course (on any device with Internet access) for one year after taking the EBPL QBO Series. Because the fee is for the Labyrinth Learning license and is not a fee associated with the library, we cannot offer any exemptions or discounts. The price is $35 for LMxAC cardholders, Non-LMxAC cardholders, unemployed patrons, and East Brunswick Township employees alike. Vouchers for free technology training courses at EBPL do not apply to the QuickBooks Online series.

Payment

Accepted payment methods include paying online through our website using Paypal (a Paypal Account, Credit Card, or Debit Card can be used on this payment portal), or in person at the library through CASH OR CHECK ONLY (we cannot accept Credit/Debit Card payments for the QuickBooks Online series at the Customer Service desk). Please remember that payment must be submitted by the registration deadline listed on the event page or your IN PROGRESS registration will be marked as CANCELED and your spot will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

Attendance

If you cannot attend the series after completing your registration, please call 732-390-6767 to cancel your registration, or cancel your registration online so that your spot can be offered to those on the waiting list. Fees for licenses are NOT refundable; However, if circumstances dictate that the library must reschedule a class and you can no longer attend, you will receive a credit toward taking that course in the future.

Waitlist

Waitlisted registrants do not pay unless there is a cancelation. After the registration deadline, any unpaid registrations will be canceled. Waitlisted registrants will be notified by email and/or telephone if there is a vacancy in a class. They will have 24 hours to respond to the notification. If they do not respond within that time frame, the next person on the waiting list will be notified. Once payment has been submitted, that registration is subject to the same policies noted above.
