The story is about Che, the main character, who has to look after his little sister Rosa. Che suspects she is a psychopath. Early on in the novel it becomes apparent that his suspicions are not paranoia. The book constantly left me guessing about what Rosa would do next and how far her psychopathy would take her. The ending of the book was also very unexpected and exciting; I actually gasped out loud at one point. However, I do think a lot of different things happened at the end which didn't add to the story. A few “plot twists” and turning points could've been cut out to make the book simpler and therefore more impactful. Overall, it was a really good read. The author was able to balance humor with suspense to give the book a chilling effect. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.

I read the book My Sister Rosa. I chose to read it in hopes of reading a book full of suspense and great writing and that's exactly what I got. This YA book gives readers a look into a teenage boy's world that has complications including love, family, and friends. It's terrifying and brilliant at the same time. I definitely recommend My Sister Rosa to anyone that loves creepy and interesting YA books. I give the book 5 stars out of 5.
