For girls, 12 -19 years old Registrations are for all 5 days of the course. Registrants MUST attend all 5 days. Join us for a 5 day web programming workshop to learn how to code with HTLM/CSS and build your very own website! No programming experience required.

This workshop is run by Kayla Leung and Chelsea Cheng of the Girls Can Code Club.

Their bios are below:

Hi! My name is Kayla. I’m currently a rising junior and full-time student at Stanford Online High School living in East Brunswick. I've had a passion for programming from a very young age, ever since I got my first lego robotics kit. I have experience with Python, C++, Java, HTML/CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and Arduino. I also lead the Girls Can Code Club that I started at my school in 2015. When I'm not studying or programming, you'll probably find me at the rink skating, outside taking photos, or reading!

Chelsea attends J.P. Stevens High School and is an active member of Robotics and Odyssey of the Mind. She has been learning how to program on her own for the past year and continues to expand her knowledge in computer science. She hopes that this workshop will give girls an idea of what programming is and also give them the foundation they need if they wish to pursue a future in a similar field.
