September is World Suicide Prevention Month. Join us for an engaging and culturally sensitive workshop dedicated to raising awareness and fostering hope within the South Asian and other communities. We will dispel common myths about suicide, share practical tips for prevention, and highlight the perspectives of suicide loss survivors. The program will feature a short, powerful video of lived experience, offering a personal and heartfelt view into the journey of loss and resilience. Participants will also receive information on local and national resources, including those tailored to South Asian individuals and families affected by suicide.

Presented by Dr. Vasudev N. Makhija, MD, DLFAPA, and Minoo Christian, MSW of SAMHIN (South Asian Mental Health Initiative & Network).

Light refreshments will be served.
