Rainbow Reads - New LGBTQ+ book club collaboration with the Pride Center of NJ and the Highland Park Library. This group meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 7pm at the Pride Center of NJ. Address is 85 Raritan Avenue (Suite #100), Highland Park, NJ

Next Meeting - June 16th at 7pm.  We are reading Stone Butch Blues written by Leslie Feinberg.  The easiest way to access this book is to download the free PDF available on the author’s website: https://www.lesliefeinberg.net/.

Stone Butch Blues, Leslie Feinberg’s groundbreaking 1993 debut novel, explores the complexities of gender through the life of Jess Goldberg, a working-class butch navigating identity and survival. Widely acclaimed, it won the 1994 Stonewall Book Award and a Lambda Literary Award. The novel remains a landmark in LGBTQ+ literature.

Join the Rainbow Reads book group for lively discussions centered on books by queer and trans authors, or stories that highlight LGBTQ+ characters and themes. While our focus is on LGBTQ+ literature, readers of all identities are welcome to take part in thoughtful, respectful, and engaging conversations.
