The MoleCOOL Scientist: Extract DNA from a Strawberry (Zoom)

Teen Volunteer Shreya D. will show you how to extract DNA from a strawberry! Shreya will go through the process and give you the instructions to try on your own later! This is an informational program and you are not expected to follow along.

This program is designed for kids in grades 4th through 6th, but all are welcome to attend.

Please register in advance by clicking "Join Event" to receive the Zoom login information so you have it before the program starts! Details will be re-sent to all registrants a half an hour prior to program start.

Ladybug Craft

Join TAG volunteer Sofia and learn how to make friendship bracelets! Grades 4+.

Soda Tab Bracelets

Kids in 1st grade and up can make a colorful bracelet out of soda tabs and elastic. This is a tricky project with small pieces and is not appropriate for young children. Limited supplies!

Create Your Summer 2025 Vision Board!

Kids in kindergarten and up are invited to join the staff of NJ4S for this fun event.

A vision board is a creative poster or collage where you can visually represent your dreams, goals, and aspirations! Feel free to bring personal photos/items to collage. Supplies and light refreshments will be provided.

NJ4S is a prevention program that supports youth mental wellness and can connect students and their parents/caregivers with other community resources beneficial to social, emotional, and mental health and well-being, including clinical and non-clinical resources.

Cool Science Stories & Experiments (CSSE)

Do you love science? Come to Cool Science Stories & Experiments, where TAG volunteer Alex will teach you science concepts with fun experiments! This program is best for grades 3+. No registration required.

Public Speaking (Gr. 5+)

Join TAG volunteer Manasi for this fun, informative public speaking workshop! We will be playing games and other activities aimed at teaching public speaking skills. Available to Grades 5+. No registration required.
