Planetary Atmospheres (Hybrid)

Feb 19 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Join Mind to Matter, a student-led nonprofit based in East Brunswick, for an exploration about the atmosphere of different planets. Learn all about what makes a planet habitable and how unique Earth is compared to other planets through hands-on experimentation. From using marshmallows and syringes to chemicals used in household baking, attendees will be able to recreate conditions on other planets to explore how life is affected. This program will also include opportunities to conduct experiments about pressure, organic matter on other planets, and the effects of gas giant clouds. Mind to Matter's goal is to promote scientific curiosity in youth through hands-on learning. Through this program, children will get to learn through asking questions while being introduced to science beyond Earth.
