Introduction to Computer Hardware: Class 1 of the Technology Foundations Series

Apr 15 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

What’s inside a computer? Join us for the first of a series of classes explaining the magic that makes our devices and networks work. This class is for adults and teens who know how to use a computer, but would like to learn more about technology. Ages 13 and over. Registration required.

The class will introduce basic computer hardware such as motherboards, processors, hard drives, and memory. Participants will learn about the function of hardware components and how to troubleshoot the most common device failures. We will also cover the systems required to support hardware components, such as power and cooling, and how to safely work with these parts.
