Introduction to Wireless Technology: Class 3 of the Technology Foundations Series

How does your phone make the connection to your earbuds or watch? Join us for a series of classes explaining the magic that makes our devices and networks work. This class is for adults and teens who know how to use computers and smartphones, but would like to learn more about the technology behind the internet. Ages 13 and over.

This class will introduce how wireless networks work and the equipment required to run them. Participants will learn about wireless frequencies, equipment, and connections. The information covered will also include Bluetooth, RFID, and NFC. The class will conclude with best practices for wireless security and device safety.
