Sunday, May 18, 12:30-2:30pm
Have more seedlings than you can plant? Join fellow gardeners for the EB Grow community Seedling Swap outside the East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) on Sunday, May 18 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Green thumbs of all experience levels can share their surplus sprouts and pick up new plants to grow. This free event is a great opportunity to connect with local plant enthusiasts, diversify your garden, and give your extra seedlings a new home.
Participants are encouraged to clearly label all plants they bring to make trading easy and enjoyable for everyone. Whether you have tomatoes, herbs, flowers, or something more exotic, all well-labeled seedlings are welcome. No registration is necessary—just bring your plants, your passion for gardening, and your curiosity about what others have grown.
In case of inclement weather, the Seedling Swap will move indoors to ensure everyone stays dry and comfortable. Don’t miss this chance to build community, share resources, and celebrate the joy of gardening with neighbors.
EB Grow is a joint project between the East Brunswick Public Library and the Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission.
