Brain Health Lecture

The presentation will introduce the difference between normal cognitive aging and dementia caused by neurodegenerative diseases. It will also discuss strategies to optimize brain health and delay the onset of dementia.

 

Bollywood Dance Workshop

Bollywood dancing is an expressive fusion of many different dance forms like bhangra, jazz, hip-hop and kathak, which is often seen in popular Bollywood movies. Dancing can distract you from your negative thoughts and helps you focus on the present. It also improves balance, strength, and has a social component as well.

Naina Goel is the founder and director of Dance4Ever, and is a versatile and accomplished dancer trained by the legendary Saroj Khan.

Pop Up Bling Sale @ Saint Bartholomew's

The East Brunswick Friends of the Library are having a Pop Up Bling Sale at the Saint Bartholomew's Flea Market (470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick) on Saturday, September 14, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Friends of the Library Clothing Drive

The EB Friends of the Library are having a clothing drive on Sunday, September 8, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, at East Brunswick Public Library (2 Civic Center Drive). 

A collection area will be in the front of the library. 

They are collecting the following:

  • Clothing For Men, Women and Children
  • Shoes
  • Handbags
  • Backpacks
  • Stuffed animals
  • Small plastic toys
  • Linens
  • Curtainstablecloths

All items must be packed in tied up plastic bags.
