Juneteenth Lecture: A Reflection on Social Justice and Emancipation (Zoom)

The East Brunswick Public Library, New Brunswick Public Library, and Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library will be hosting a Zoom lecture in honor of Juneteenth, a holiday celebrated annually on June 19th that commemorates the day in 1865 when enslaved people of Texas, then the most remote region of the Confederacy, finally learned slavery had been abolished and that they were free.  Dr.

Join local musician and music instructor Paul Singh for an evening of songwriting instruction and workshopping!  In this session we will break down the essentials of writing music, lyrics and discuss techniques to get the creative process flowing.  If you would like, feel free to prepare a song you have written for discussion and critique.

Miracle Creek: A Novel
