Great Oak

Great Oak by Shonto Olander (A Short Story Contest entry)

He had a decision: climb down or jump and take his chances. His branch swayed under punishing blows from the wind.

Storm's coming.

He looked around, observing squirrels prance around and puffy robbins poke their heads down in the grass and yank up worms. He heard in the distance the familiar sound of his mom's voice, who he couldn't see from his vantage point

Time to decide.

History History History (Always Repeating) by Joseph Rutch (A Short Story Contest entry)

Ana trudged up the muddy road with her mom. They’d left home as the bombing began. Everything abandoned. Then her mother fell, Ana saw blood coming out of her head. As she bent down by her mom, she felt the stings, two, three times inside herself. Earth Odyssey TV Show

Earth Odyssey TV Show by Yan Yakirevich (A Short Story Contest entry)

I have been watching a very interesting TV Show Called Earth Odyssey with Dylan Dreye on NBC every Saturday at 10am. Earth Odyssey is a TV show about wildlife around the world. On the TV show, it explains very interesting fasts about the animals around the world that a lot of people do not know. The show also shows connections to the environment, wildlife and people. I love this show very much.
