1000 Books Before Kindergarten Prizes

Do we owe your 1000 Books Before Kindergarten participant some prizes?  If so, we would love to even up with you.  Please send an email to 1000Books@ebpl.org.  Include your child's name, your name, and the best phone number to reach you at.  That way we can find your account in the online system and give you a buzz to talk about prizes!

We'll let you know how to select any prize books that your child has earned, set aside your child's milestone stickers, and will work with you to schedule a curbside pickup.

All About Masks

These days, most of us are wearing masks to protect the people around us, as well as ourselves.  The teen volunteers in the EB Red Cross Council made some videos to show you when and where they're wearing theirs!  Kids, you get extra points if you can tell your grown-up what safety mistake one of the teen volunteers makes in one of these video clips!

Learn About Spinal Muscular Atrophy with How to Be a Super Friend!

Our good friend Megan, a medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, is teaching us about what Spinal Muscular Atrophy is and how to be a good friend to someone who has it.  As Megan explains, SMA affects how a person's muscles develop, and sometimes people with SMA use medical supplies like a wheelchair or breathing machine to help them be as healthy as possible.  Watch the video to learn more.
