Wellness from Within (Outside)

Due to the heat, today's session will be held on Zoom.

In these half-hour sessions, participants will learn how to warm up with breathing and laughing exercies to help relax the body and mind. The group will then go on a journey through guided meditation to help achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state.

These sessions will take place Wednesday mornings 10:00am - 10:30am, July 7th through August 25th outside of the East Brunswick Public Library by the clock in the Municipal Complex. Please bring your own yoga mat or towel.

Color a Smile

It's Teamwork Tuesday!  Families can drop by between 4:00 and 7:00 to color a picture -- or a few -- that will be sent to someone in need of some cheer.  This event is in partnership with Color A Smile, a nonprofit organization that distributes cheerful drawings to seniors, troops overseas, and anyone in need of a smile.

A Song Below Water

Tavia is already at odds with the world, forced to keep her siren identity under wraps in a society that wants to keep her kind under lock and key. Nevermind she's also stuck in Portland, Oregon, a city with only a handful of black folk and even fewer of those with magical powers. At least she has her bestie Effie by her side as they tackle high school drama, family secrets, and unrequited crushes.
